Rental Rates
Daytime Events
Kuda Loft Space Monday to Sunday; $600 up to 5pm (over time, $200/hour after agreed time).
Gazebo Rooftop Monday to Sunday: $400 up to 5pm (Over time, $200/hour after agreed time)
Evening Events
Kuda Loft Monday – Thursday: $800 Friday, Saturday & Sunday: $1500
Gazebo Rooftop Monday to Sunday $750 (No loud noise or music after 11pm)
Additional Staff
One staff member is included in our rental rates, up to a maximum of 100 guests. For additional guests an additional staff member is required at a rate of $45.00 per hour for the duration of the event.
Rental Policies
A damage deposit of $1000 must be paid prior to the event in addition to the rental fee. This deposit is refundable within 48 hours of the event. The client is responsible for any and all damages that occur as a result of the event including damages to the building, fixtures, equipment and personal property of Kuda Event Space. If any of the above exceeds the amount of deposit, renter will pay the additional amount within 48hrs of the event..
- Kuda Event Space closing time is 2:00 am; all persons other then the clean up staff must be out of the building. If the renter should need extended hours, prior approval is required and an additional fee of $200/hour will be applied.
Availability
Preparation by the caterers/event planner or re-arrangement of the space may begin up to two hours prior to the event start time. The renter should distinguish between event ending time and house closing time. Event ending time means the time the clean-up begins, the band/music stops playing and the bar(s) closes. House closing time is the time when all persons are out of the building with the exception of clean-up staff
Parking
Kuda Event Space has limited shared parking. Street parking is available.
Alcohol Consumption
Subject to the renters or their designates obtaining a valid City of Toronto liquor license, alcohol may be served at Kuda Events Space. We reserve the right to close the bar should Kuda events’ staff deem it necessary to protect the facility and safety of individuals. Bartenders will be professional and will obey the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages.

Advertising
Any printed materials produced by the renter describing the space or the events must be approved by the manager of Kuda Event Space prior to print and distribution.
Event Planner / Caterer Responsibilities
- A representative for the event planner/caterer must be on site throughout the entire event. Beginning at time of delivery of supplies until end of clean up.
- Event planner/caterers are responsible for unloading, setting up, and reloading all their goods.
- All rented items are to be neatly placed on the designated area by the event planner/caterer after the event.
- All rented items or delivered goods (alcohol, flowers, video equipment, etc., etc.) must be signed for by the renter or event planner/caterer.
- Caterers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and all public spaces, including restrooms during the event.
- Caterers must collect all glasses, dishes, trash, etc. during the event to avoid unsightly pileup. Rental items such as dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. are to be rinsed by the caterer and neatly placed in the original boxes provided. Non-returnable items such as paper items should be discarded in trash cans.
- All garbage bags are to be sealed and removed from the space. (on site disposal bin provided)
- All empty bottles are to be disposed of in the boxes they came in and removed from the site, there is no garbage or recyclable storage area available. Bottles are not to be thrown in the garbage cans. Ice buckets emptied, wraps and corks should be trashed.
- Caterers are to provide all necessary tools such as garbage bags, extra garbage containers, can openers, foil, pots, towels, dish detergent, knives, and other supplies necessary to carry out their duties.
